Jolanta Launay est n\u00e9e \u00e0 Cracovie en 1973. Apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu son baccalaur\u00e9at au lyc\u00e9e d\u2019arts plastiques de Cracovie, elle \u00e9tudie \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure des Arts D\u00e9coratifs de Paris et en sort dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e en 2001. En 2007, elle est finaliste du concours pour la cr\u00e9ation et la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019une statue de Jacques Chaban-Delmas \u00e0 Bordeaux. En 2008, elle est laur\u00e9ate du prix de sculpture \u00ab\u00a0Destouches, Delage et Roux\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 l\u2019Institut de France. Elle est \u00e9galement finaliste d\u2019un concours organis\u00e9 par la Communaut\u00e9 Urbaine de Montpellier pour l\u2019\u00e9rection de dix statues en bronze sur le th\u00e8me \u00ab\u00a0Les Grands Hommes du XXe<\/sup> si\u00e8cle\u00a0\u00bb. Elle participe \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes expositions \u00e0 Bordeaux, Cracovie, Mexico, et expose \u00e0 Paris en f\u00e9vrier 2010 en tant que membre de la Fondation Taylor. Elle poursuit aujourd\u2019hui ses recherches en sculpture et en peinture dans son atelier bordelais.<\/p>\n
